The Angel Hotel was a great coaching inn on the London to Fishguard road; privately run now since 2002. At Abergavenny's centre, it combines friendly and attentive service with an elegant décor. AA three stars, and the award-winning cuisine has an AA rosette.

Afternoon teas, restaurant and sitting room: 3.00 - 5.30pm.
Evening meals in the bar: 6.30 - 10.00pm.
Dinner in the restaurant: 7.00 -10.00pm.
