Civic Society’s open meeting to discuss Cattle Market site

ABERGAVENNY Civic Society is holding an open meeting on Monday (15/03/04) evening to discuss Monmouthshire County Council’s plans for the redevelopment of Abergavenny’s cattle market site.

Chaired by the Mayor of Abergavenny, Councillor Victor Barrett, the meeting could be the public’s last opportunity to raise any comments on the scheme.

George Ashworth, head of planning at Monmouthshire County Council, will be on hand to outline the proposals in more detail and there will also be time for a question and answer session.

The meeting will take place in the Wedgewood Room at the Angel Hotel, Abergavenny, at 7.30pm. Everyone is welcome to attend.
