Abergavenny man charged

AN Abergavenny man has been charged with assaulting a police officer and public order offences and was due to
appear before magistrates at Abergavenny this week following a disturbance at the town’s Lion Street.
Police have warned that further investigations may lead to more charges being brought against other people
involved in the incident which occurred early on Thursday evening.
