Charity boxes stolen in Gilwern
Abergavenny Chronicle - 16 October 2003

TWO charity boxes each containing a ‘considerable’ amount of money have been stolen from premises in Gilwern during the past week.

“Both the boxes were well supported by members of the public and contained a considerable amount of money which was supposed to help cancer research and kidney research which has now been lost because of this despicable theft,” he said.
