‘Oh yes it was...’ pantomime success for performers at Llanddewi Rhydderch

LLANDDEWI Rhydderch Pantomime People performed their world premier production of Little Red Riding Hood and the
Search for the Golden Fleece to sell-out audiences last weekend raising more than £1,000 in the process.
The pantomime which was written and produced by local author, Alan Wilson, with additional material by Glyn Harris,
was directed by Jess Torr. The story was loosely based upon Little Red Riding Hood but with additional characters from other
stories.
Stars included Sybil Nurden as grandma and Jantein Powell and Eryl Sheers as Ugly Sisters. Also taking part
were Laura Palmer, Gay Wilson, Lauren Judd, Robert Tod, Glyn Harris, Sarah Bensley, Sandra Morgan, Liz Thomas, Alan Wilson,
Dot Burton and Keva Scammell.
Proceeds from the event will go towards the village hall.
